Powering the AI Era: Reliable Connections for Liquid Cooling

release time:2026-08-19publisher:

AI is transforming the way data centers are designed.

As artificial intelligence, high-performance computing (HPC) and high-density electronic systems continue to push computing power to new levels, thermal management is becoming a critical infrastructure challenge.

With traditional air cooling approaching its practical limits in high-density applications, liquid cooling is becoming a key technology for the next generation of AI and HPC infrastructure.

But efficient cooling is not only about removing heat.

It is also about managing fluids safely, efficiently and reliably throughout the entire cooling loop.

Small Components. Critical Connections.

In a liquid cooling system, connectors and valves may represent only a small part of the overall installation, but their role is essential.

They must help maintain reliable coolant circulation while minimizing the risks associated with leakage, pressure loss, vibration, installation and maintenance.

A connection failure can affect more than the cooling circuit itself. It can potentially impact equipment performance, system availability and overall infrastructure reliability.

This is why liquid cooling connections should no longer be considered simple piping components.

They are critical elements of the thermal management system.

Introducing the Luxecasting TLOK Series

To address the evolving connection requirements of AI data centers, high-performance computing and high-density liquid cooling systems, Luxecasting has developed the TLOK Series of liquid cooling connection solutions. Built around three complementary product families — TLOK-S, TLOK-C and TLOK-U — the range covers fluid control, secure assembly and quick connection requirements across the cooling loop.

TLOK-S — Dual Interlock Liquid Cooling Ball Valve

Designed for data center and high-performance liquid cooling applications, the TLOK-S combines fluid control with an integrated dual-interlock safety concept. Its design focuses on three key requirements:Reliable sealing and controlled fluid circulation

· High flow capacity with a low-resistance flow path

· Dual shut-off protection to enhance system safety

Available in several sizes, the TLOK-S provides a compact solution for applications where flow performance and connection security are equally important.22ec1efc5d11bfee8ba8aec4dc5483f1.jpg

TLOK-C — Self-Locking Clamp

The TLOK-C rethinks the conventional Tri-Clamp connection.

Instead of a traditional threaded tightening system, its lever-operated self-locking mechanism is designed to provide fast and repeatable assembly while maintaining controlled gasket compression.图片3.png

Key benefits include:

· Stable sealing through optimized gasket compression

· Fast installation and removal without repeated adjustment

· Secure locking designed to resist vibration and accidental loosening

The TLOK-C can also be integrated with the TLOK-S valve, creating a compact connection architecture for liquid cooling piping systems.

TLOK-U — UQD Quick Disconnect

For high-density AI server cooling applications, connection speed, compactness and interoperability are increasingly important.

The TLOK-U UQD Liquid Cooling Quick Disconnect has been developed around the OCP UQD interface concept to support standardized liquid cooling architectures.

Its double-sided flat-face self-sealing design provides:

· Tool-free, one-handed connection

· Low fluid loss during connection and disconnection

· Efficient coolant flow

· Reliable sealing performance

TLOK-U is designed for applications including AI server cooling, CDU-to-cold-plate loops and HPC thermal management systems.

One Connection Ecosystem for Liquid Cooling

From fluid control to quick connection, and from initial installation to maintenance, each connection has a direct impact on the performance and reliability of a liquid cooling system.

With TLOK-S, TLOK-C and TLOK-U, Luxecasting brings these functions together into one coordinated connection portfolio. Engineered for performance. Designed for reliability. Built for the future of liquid cooling.
